An Invitation: A Practical Generative AI Workshop in London with Christopher Penn
Literally 21 seats left, sorry about that
Are you tired of the generative AI hype? As a marketer, you're likely facing pressure to implement AI, but find that most training focuses on chatbot tricks rather than real-world strategy. It's a common frustration: a lot of noise, but very little signal on how to drive measurable business results—especially for the complex challenges we face in B2B marketing.
To help you address this, I'm running a SMALL, full-day, in-person workshop in London on 31 October: Generative AI for B2B Marketing Leaders. This isn't a theoretical lecture. It's a hands-on strategy session where we will move beyond the hype and build practical solutions to your most pressing challenges, from accelerating your content pipeline to generating deeper market intelligence.
This is a "learn-by-doing" event. You'll need your laptop, as we'll be working through exercises together. To ensure you can participate fully without confidentiality risks, we provide a complete set of safe, synthetic business data. You will leave with a personal "cookbook" of prompts you've tested yourself, a copy of my book Almost Timeless, and a clear, actionable plan to implement back at the office.
Seats are strictly limited to 25 people to ensure a high-quality, interactive experience customized to you, answering your specific burning questions about making generative AI work for you. (if I get more than 25 registrations, we'll open a waitlist)
And we're at 40% of the minimum attendance already.
As a subscriber to my Almost Timely Newsletter, you're getting the first invitation. You can view the full agenda and reserve your seat on the landing page. Please note there is a no-risk guarantee: if the workshop doesn't meet its minimum attendance by September 30th, all registration fees will be refunded in full.

Best regards,
Christopher Penn

Common Questions I've Been Asked Already
Can non-B2B marketers attend?
Yes, but the examples and sample data will be B2B. If you're good with that, you're welcome to be there.
Will there be food?
Yes. Your ticket also entitles you to a sandwich for lunch. Once registration is closed, I'll be asking you for your orders.
Who should not attend?
If you're already doing things like building your own MCP servers or fine tuning model quants, this workshop will be too basic for you.
Will it be recorded?
Yes, but the recording will only be available to registered attendees.
Will there be a virtual option?
Not this time around.
Will I need to bring my own data?
No. All data for the exercises will be provided for you so you don't have to worry about confidentiality.
Will I need to bring a laptop?
Yes. It's a workshop that's very hands on.
Can I use my phone/tablet?
Depends on how skilled you are with it and how capable it is. An iPad/Surface is probably fine. An iPhone, less so.
Do I need to use a specific AI tool?
The workshop contents will work with ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and any modern AI tool.
What about Copilot?
Copilot is the Pepsi of AI. Yes, Copilot is okay.
Where is the workshop being held?
Venue will be announced once registration is closed but it will be in the city of London, accessible by mass transit.
How will I know the workshop is for me?
Once registration is closed, I'll be sending around email to registrants asking YOU for your agenda items you'd like me to cover, in addition to my normal curriculum. I'll be tailoring the contents to what YOU want to learn about, as long as the group as a whole would benefit.
How much does it cost?
697 GBP.
Are there any discounts?
Not this time around, possibly for future ones.
Can more than one person from my company attend?
Sure, but each registration must be done individually.
What is the airspeed of an unladen swallow?
European swallows fly at a maximum speed of 15 meters per second.
African swallows fly at a maximum speed of 18 meters per second.
