Blatant sales pitch, I've got a new course, Mastering Prompt Engineering for Marketers.
What Is It?
If you still feel like you're struggling to get AI (language models in particular, like ChatGPT) to do what you want, I've got a new course to help.
Mastering Prompt Engineering for Marketers is a 2 hour tour through prompt engineering. The first couple of modules walk through not just what prompting is, but what's happening INSIDE the AI model as it processes a prompt. I made the explanation non-technical (because who really enjoys softmax layers and attention matrices besides me) but the walkthrough really digs into what's going on inside the box.
Knowing that helps us understand WHY prompts do or don't work. You'll see why in the course, when you watch how a prompt is processed.
Then we walk through 3 prompt frameworks, plus "delve" 😏 into advanced prompting techniques, along with a downloadable guide of what each technique is, why you should care, when you should use it, and how to use it.
After that, we get into knowledge blocks and priming representations, then how to build and manage a prompt library.
What's In The Box? Here's a 5 Minute Tour

Who Should NOT Take This Course
One of the questions we got most often from our presale is who should or should not take the course.
Here's who should NOT take the course:
If you're doing LLM quantization, this course is much too simple. You know everything in it.
If your prompts routinely exceed 30,000 words on a regular and frequent basis, chances are you've got all the best practices down and you won't benefit as much.
If you're using AI through APIs and developer platforms liek Aider and Cline, a decent amount of the prompt engineering techniques won't really help and might cost you a lot of money, so this course isn't for you. Prompt engineering in a developer environment is a whole different beast.
Who SHOULD Take This Course
You're a marketer or business professional using a web interface like Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or Deepseek, trying to get things done and write prompts that deliver what you had in mind.
